A BIG Apple-style Christmas is coming to Whittlebury Hall this year as it offers shared party nights inspired by the bright lights and glitz and glamour of New York.
Hosted in one of Whittlebury’s impressive suites, guests will be transported across the pond as the New York City skyline spans the room and paparazzi-style photographers give them an A-list welcome.
The theming doesn’t just stop at the decor either; Broadway-style entertainment will be provided in the form of a three-piece jazz band, a singer belting out Rat Pack hits, a close-up magician wowing guests and a special appearance from a breakdancing troupe inspired by the b-boys of the Bronx.
The specially-created menu pays homage to the flavours of New York too with dishes including maple bourbon-glazed chicken with Brussels sprouts, cranberry and bacon colcannon and buttered carrots and pretzel-crumbed pumpkin cannelloni with tomato caponata and yankee potato.
Dessert will be a crowd-pleasing trio of American classics: New York Christmas cheesecake, chocolate mud pie and cookie mousse and a nutmeg caramelised pecan tart with cosmopolitan jelly.
Whittlebury offers a variety of Christmas party packages which are available for groups of up to 500, at either a shared party night including Prosecco on arrival, three-course meal with tea and coffee and full event theming and entertainment. Exclusive hire offers a traditional Christmas party with mulled wine, a three-course meal and a DJ to dance the night away.
Event planners can add a little extra sparkle with optional drinks packages, private receptions, midnight snacks and bed and breakfast accommodation, and there’s even the option to upgrade to an overnight spa package including bed and breakfast, festive afternoon tea and a 25-minute treatment, as well as the New York Party Night, from £175 per person.
Shared party nights will be taking place on Thursday 30 November, 7, 14 and 21 December; Friday 1, 8, 15 and 22 December and Saturday 2, 9, 16 and 23 December. Exclusive hire party nights are available from November to January 2018.
The hotel is offering an exclusive early bird rate starting from just £49 per person, for bookings confirmed before 30 September. Bookings from 1 October start from £54 per person.
