LOCAL provider of managed communication services dbfb are demonstrating their commitment to providing Northampton enterprises with the tools to grow, with an impending FullFibre upgrade to the St James Industrial Estate and surrounding areas.
Organisations such as Cosworth Racing, Northampton Saints, Northampton Town FC & Scott Fowler Solicitors are all soon to be able to access internet speeds of up to 1000mbps. The total cost to extend City Fibre’s gigabit speed service from the nearest duct right to the premises of each organisation is costing in the region of £250,000. The proposal to the St James Community meant that if enough businesses supported the project, the cost would be covered by dbfb and CityFibre. dbfb have then further demonstrated their commitment to supporting local businesses through partnering with Ashmac Construction to deliver this exciting upgrade.
Ashmac construction are well-known in Northamptonshire for delivering high quality and reliable construction services. Ashmac will be providing dbfb with bespoke civils work in St James, to help revolutionise the areas connectivity. This partnership coincides with dbfb’s ethos of investing heavily back into the local community, while providing a service that will enrich and enable how the local business community runs.
