Ready to take a major step forward

ANOTHER successful year has seen Emfast Limited in Wellingborough go from strength to strength, with the trade counter busier than ever and the final touches being put to the firm’s new e-commerce website.

Additional staff have been taken on to cope with demand for the Finedon Road Industrial Estate company’s vast range of fasteners and fixings including nuts, bolts, screws and rivets both blind and solid type as well as associated engineering adhesives, abrasives, hand tools, lubricants, safety wear and construction fixings.

These, along with lifting and clamping products including chain, eyebolts, eye nuts, as well as carbine hooks, turnbuckles, steel wire rope and associated products can be ordered by email or telephone for next-day delivery or collection at the trade counter.

Early next year, the firm’s new website will go live, making products available to buy online, including individual customer portals enabling customers to download copy invoices, statements etc. at the click of a button.

Director Dee Legg said: “We’ve always been here to advise, and we still will be, but we will be including photographs and comprehensive technical information on the website so that they can make a more informed decision about what they need to suit their requirements.

“Most of our customers will continue as they have been – we have a stock control system that ensures regular customers’ supplies are automatically topped up or restocked as and when necessary – but we think the website will bring in a lot of new customers looking for something specific.

“It will be a major step forward for us, as it’s the way people prefer to shop now and we believe it will open up an even wider customer base for Emfast.”
