Further transformations

THE transformations keep on coming at the popular Holiday Inn Corby with the latest work now complete on the meeting room areas which means it is now possible to host events for over 700 people.

The team have already put to good use the new-look Manor Suite, which can hold up to 350 people, and now the Heart Suite, formerly the Corbie Suite, offers fresh alternatives to those looking to host an event that needs a versatile, fresh-looking space for up to 175 people.

Another area is the Ace Suite (formerly Millers Restaurant) which can accommodate up to 150 with a theatre-style set up or, with the clever use of partitions, can suit the needs of smaller groups by splitting the space in to areas called Joker, Club and Ace.

The meeting rooms once available on the hotel’s first floor have now been turned in to bedrooms to bring the hotel’s bedroom quota up to 110.

It means visitors can be rightly impressed with the hotel’s facilities which include free high speed wi-fi on site, a refurbished on-site gym, fitness and pool area 3D Health and Fitness Corby and the beauty salon Pampered and Polished.

The Open Lobby space, which is open to non-residents, boasts a dining area which includes a chef’s station, bar and a to-go cafe where the team are proud to serve Starbucks coffee.

The easily-accessible hotel has a reputation for offering a wide range of packages to businesses or private groups with themed buffets, private dining, a barbecue or a working buffet lunch all on the menu.

Non-residents are encouraged to dine in the restaurant where the chef and the experienced team take pride in offering freshly-made dishes including daily specials, a carvery on the last Sunday of each month and special events like Father’s Day lunch on 18 June.
