As part of this commitment and as a founder member of the largest Pan European pallet network, Palletways, we are pleased to welcome the introduction of an Evening Delivery Service.

Home deliveries now account for 25 per cent of Palletways deliveries, this has doubled over that last five years and is expected to continue to increase. Following a review of our customers' requirements, the Palletways Network is extending its normal daytime delivery window to include an evening delivery.

This will particularly suit those consignees that are working but would like to be at home when their delivery is made.

This latest development builds on the introduction of our ETA service last year, this is where we are able to give our customers a two-hour delivery window. This enhanced communication takes away the stress of waiting for your goods to be delivered. We are able to keep you and your customers up to date as to the progress with your delivery.

Our objective is to continue to build and develop our service so that our customers receive a 'Great Delivery Experience' in an age when the customer's expectations are continuing to change and indeed become more demanding.

PC Howard Ltd are a Platinum member of the Palletways Network, this award recognises the high standard of service that we already achieve for our customers - the introduction of the ETA service will enable us to further enhance the level of service and create a further distinction between the service we are able to provide compared to our competitors

Our advanced service, assists our customers to manage their logistics and control costs and for them to be able to track their goods every step of the way with the accessibility to notify their own consumers or delivery sites of what is being delivered and when, potentially eliminating unmanned locations, and no longer running the risk of missed deliveries.

The Palletways portal already offers a significant level of visibility and transparency for every pallet collection and delivery. Both customer and consignee have the options of which electronic data platform they can use, whether it be desktop PC or Android/IOS tablet or smartphone. This effectively should reduce the number of phone calls from your customers and provide you with a premium service to offer as standard.
