Be part of the nightclub scene

NIGHTCLUB space in the centre of Northampton has become available through Hadland Chartered Surveyors.

Legends nightclub, on two floors above the Admiral amusement arcade on the corner of College Street and Gold Street is available to let, with an option to purchase the entire premises as an investment.

The 3,500 square feet first and second floor space is currently fitted out as a nightclub but there is also potential for redevelopment as student accommodation, subject to planning permission.

Peter Castle, Managing Director of Hadlands, said: “The property is in an good location close to the new Turtle Bay restaurant and the new Student Union complex off George Row and would be an excellent investment, currently achieving an income of £65,000 per year. We’re hoping it will attract a good level of interest whether to let or buy.”

The nightclub space is available to let at £35,000 per annum, while the purchase price is £975,000.

Also newly available is a former public house on Poole Street in Northampton, close to the University of Northampton’s St George’s Avenue campus. The building has potential for residential conversion into five flats or may be of interest to another pub operator.

Close to the town centre is a retail showroom with ancillary storage in Balfour Road. The Coliseum Buildings offer 3,577 square feet of retail space on a prominent corner position.

Enjoying good pedestrian flow, the premises are available to let on a new lease for a term of years to be agreed at an asking rent of £15,000 per annum exclusive.

A first floor office suite in Rickyard Barn at Blisworth Hill Farm Park is available to let at £21,000 per annum. The 1,714 square feet office premises, set in a pleasant rural environment, offer good access to local transport routes, including the M1 and excellent on-site car parking. The accommodation includes open plan office space, a kitchenette and toilet facilities.

Recent deals completed include the letting of office space in Whitworths Chambers on George Row. The 777 square feet space was let to a flight delay claims team at close to the asking rent. Meanwhile, a ground floor and basement lock-up shop at 70 Wellingborough Road has been let. The unit, in a prominent corner position in a busy retail location has been taken on by a tailoring business on a new lease.
