Two developments offer outstanding range of options

LEADING developer Westleigh Homes is encouraging those in the Northampton area considering their next move to look at the range of options available at its Ecton Brook and Butterfields developments.

Ecton Brook Place, on Ecton Brook Road, offers a range of modern, spacious, smartly-fitted two and three-bedroom homes, ideal for couples, young families and downsizers, whilst Butterfields on Booth Lane South provides a number of high-quality detached three and four bedroom designs, perfect for growing families.

An on-site marketing suite is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 at each development, with a team of friendly advisers on hand to discuss potential buyers’ options.

Through the government-backed Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme, buyers at both developments could secure a new home with a five per cent deposit and just a 75 per cent mortgage. The remainder is funded by a government loan worth up to 20 per cent of the property’s value, with no repayments in the first five years.

Katy Beswick, New Homes Adviser at Ecton Brook Place, said: “Ecton Brook Place is a great place to live, on the edge of town but with good transport links and all of the important amenities close at hand.

“We are located next to Ecton Brook Primary School which is a very popular primary school in this area, and we are also very close to the A45 which offers straightforward access to the M1. Within five minutes’ drive is Riverside Retail Park, and Weston Favell Shopping Centre is also within easy reach. Homes are selling very quickly, with over 60 per cent sold.

“Help to Buy is a great scheme for our site as we are selling two and three bedroom homes, many of which have been designed with first time buyers and young families in mind, and this helps them move around the property ladder.

“My favourite home style at Ecton Brook Place is the Thirlmere, which is a modern, open-plan design. The downstairs consists of a large central hallway leading to an impressive kitchen/diner on one side, with a front-to-back living room. Upstairs has three spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom. We have one Thirlmere on the market at the moment, with others scheduled for release very soon. Prices for the Thirlmere start at £235,000.”

Two Elder style properties remain available at Ecton Brook Place, with prices starting at £194,950.

Linda Dobbs, New Homes Site Representative at Butterfields, said: “Butterfields offers many of the same advantages as Ecton Brook Place. It has easy access to the A43, A45 and the M1, Weston Favell Shopping Centre is within walking distance, and local schools cater for children up to the age of 18. In short, buying here removes the necessity to go into town and pay high parking charges – there are plenty of local amenities on the doorstep.

“The Wainwright offers flexible living space, with four bedrooms, two of which have ensuite shower rooms, over three floors. The Master Suite occupies the whole of the top floor, with ample storage available. The ground floor is made up of a large entrance hallway leading to the sitting room and the kitchen/diner. It is light, bright, airy and open-plan, perfect for modern family living.

“This home is on the market at £359,950, but we have a range of other properties starting from £219,950.

“We’d advise any potential buyers in the Northampton area to visit our new show home and get a feel for what life could be like here.”

Westleigh Homes builds contemporary new homes across the region. It ensures its new homes embrace existing buildings, styles and materials, whilst also ensuring the build has minimal impact on its local environment.
