THE organisers of the county’s leading awards for small and medium sized businesses are going all out to ensure this year’s event knocks everyone for six.
Now in its third year, it has been announced that the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards dinner on Thursday, 25 October will be held at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club for the first time.
The 2018 SME Northamptonshire Business Awards, organised in association with Business Times, are open to any business with fewer than 250 employees, with categories including Best New Business, Business Person of the Year, Training and Development and Employee of the Year, and each business is eligible to enter up to two categories. Those who wish to enter need to act swiftly, however, as the deadline for entries is Tuesday, 10 July.

Previous winners speak positively of how important the award has been to their own businesses, and testament to that is the fact that two of last year’s winners are back this year as sponsors.
Technocopy Solutions, which took the Service Excellence Award last year, as well as the overall Business of the Year title, join Stanair Industrial Doors and the Cricket Club as headline sponsors, while Banghals Construction, whose Managing Director Parm Banghal, won Young Business Person of the Year in 2017, is sponsoring the same award this year.
