‘Amazing’: Entrepreneur vows to continue her business journey after UK top 100 ranking

“THIS AMAZING recognition continues to fuel my entrepreneurial journey,” says executive coach and HR consultant Rachel Collar after she was named among the UK’s most impressive female entrepreneurs.

Rachel pictured above, who founded the award-winning Towcester-based HR and leadership coaching business Haus of HR, is profiled by Small Business Britain’s ‘f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100’ campaign among 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs from across the country.

The list includes businesswomen working for AI companies, female-run tradeswoman platforms and sustainable fashion designers. The f:Entrepreneur ‘#IAlso100’ line-up showcases female founders who lead purpose-driven businesses as well as taking on other responsibilities such as volunteering, mentoring and community support.

“Being recognised alongside other incredible female founders is a testament to the hard work I have put into my business over the last few years, making it all worthwhile,” says Rachel, whom the campaign praised for her mentoring of women in HR and other entrepreneurial fields, as well as her voluntary work, as a trustee and as a non-executive director of Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire Chambers of Commerce.

Launched in 2017 by Small Business Britain – which champions small businesses in the UK – the f:Entrepreneur campaign aims to raise awareness of the impact of female business owners across the country and provide inspiration and role models to the wider small business community.

“It is so important that we call out the incredible contribution of women running businesses across the UK,” says SBS founder Michelle Ovens. “As well as growing economic prosperity across the UK, they are having a tremendous, wider positive impact on local communities. Despite all of the challenges of recent times, it is fantastic to see female entrepreneurship continuing to grow and flourish in the UK and we must do all we can to encourage and build this further.”
