It’s the business: Chamber exhibition showcases county companies at their best

Scores of businesses from Northamptonshire and beyond were at the Kettering Conference centre to take part in the first Business exhibition of 2022 run by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce.

The appetite for face to face conversation and business was keen, with visitors touring the exhibition stands eager to find out about the latest products and services from the county’s leading business names.

Delegates also attended two seminars hosted by the Chamber: one on social media for small businesses, presented by Scott Jones of 123 Internet, the second discussing unconscious bias to reflect the #Breakthebias theme of International Women’s Day earlier this month.

Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce’s deputy chief executive Julie Maclennan said: “This exhibition, and included events, allows the local business community to network, share best practice and make new connections, which is everything our Chamber aspires to provide for those we serve.”

Chamber president Robyn Allen added: “The Chamber team has been hard at work on making the event the best it can possibly be, and I am delighted to see this fantastic event take place.”

The exhibition’s headline sponsor was communications specialist dbfb. Managing director Simon Pickering said: “We are excited to be the headline sponsors at this year’s exhibition. After a challenging few years for many, we were looking forward to physically networking with other local businesses to create new connections and supercharge our local business community in 2022.”
