A festive wonderland

ONE of the region’s leading conference venues will be transforming itself into a Winter Wonderland when the Christmas party season arrives.

Kettering Conference & Leisure Village is known for its excellent meeting and conference facilities, providing the perfect location for large events for up to 2,000 people or smaller get-togethers in its well-equipped meeting rooms.

But throughout December, the contemporary conference space will be magically transformed with Christmas trees and festive decorations and table novelties to get guests into the party spirit.

Prices for the Christmas Party Nights start at £29.95 and include a four-course dinner followed by a DJ and disco and provide the perfect opportunity to celebrate with colleagues and friends. The events begin at 7pm, with dinner served at 7.30pm and end around 1am.

For larger groups, the events team at Kettering Conference & Leisure Village can help arrange a private event, and party nights are available from November right through to early January.

The Christmas Party Night menu includes starters ham hock terrine or goat’s cheese and beetroot salad, followed by turkey parcels with sage and onion stuffing wrapped in smoked bacon and accompanied by festive trimmings and fresh seasonal vegetables, or a wild mushroom and brie Wellington with thyme roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables and a red wine sauce.

Desserts are traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and redcurrants, or profiterole tower with chocolate sauce.

The dinner will be rounded off with mini mince pies and coffee, while drinks packages are available including welcome drinks, table drinks, wines, beers and soft drinks, all with early bird discounts.

Full details of the Christmas party nights at Kettering Conference & Leisure Village are available from the Christmas coordinator on 01536 414414, email or visit the website www.ketteringconference.co.uk
