A promise of festive cheer

WHAT’S not to like at Barton Hall for people looking for somewhere special for their festive celebrations.

The country house on the edge of Kettering offers the perfect solution for those who appreciate fantastic food, a friendly service and a warming log burner.

There is a promise of more than just boughs of holly decking the halls. with festive packages to appeal to people looking somewhere special to celebrate with family, friends and colleagues.

The seasonal menu is available from Monday, 25 November with a two-course lunch costing £19.50, a three-course lunch (£23.50) available Monday to Saturday and a three-course dinner priced £27.50 available every day including Sunday evenings. Delicious starters include roast parsnip and honey soup, smoked mackerel tartare, ham hock terrine or celeriac panna cotta.

Roast turkey or braised blade of beef are two stars of the main course options or select hake or butternut squash, chilli and baby spinach Pithivier. The dessert line up includes Christmas pudding, dark chocolate torte, vanilla cheesecake or a cheese selection.

Sunday lunch is available throughout December, with bookings available from noon to 4pm, comprising three courses for £25 per person. Barton Hall is now fully booked on Christmas Day but there are still tables available for you to enjoy the festive three-course lunch being served on Boxing Day, priced £45 per adult and £20 per child with a choice of starters, main courses and dessert.

Party nights promise to be memorable, with DJ fun nights on 5, 6, 12 December, with 13 December having already sold out, and on 23 December, as well as Rat Pack nights followed by DJ on 19 December, with 20 December already sold out. Start the evening with a mouthwatering three-course meal before dancing the night away. Partygoers can take advantage of the bedroom rates for those who want to make the most of the hall’s facilities.

The Vines Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week so guests can relax and enjoy a morning-after-the-night-before coffee or catch up with friends and colleagues over a light brunch. The hall’s restaurant, which has two AA rosettes, was a finalist in the Carlsberg Food & Drink Awards 2015/2016.
