To complement the theme, the chefs have devised a menu that includes the likes of cannelloni of muscat pumpkin, cocktail of prawns and oak-smoked salmon and hot vichyssoise to start, followed by roast turkey, four-hour slow cooked blade of beef and baked goats cheese and caramelised onion tarte tatin. Desserts are Thwaites Nutty Black Ale Christmas pudding, Le Tuxford and Tebbut blue Stilton cheese and chocolate indulgence.
This is all followed by coffee and festive treats and, if you start to flag later, a midnight snack.
Party nights run from Friday, 28th November to Monday, 22nd December and are held on every Friday and Saturday between those dates, as well as Thursday, 11th December and prices range from £35 to £55 per person depending on the date. There’s also an Abba Tribute night on Thursday, 4th December and Motown Tribute Night on Thursday, 18th December, both priced at £45.
For those who don’t want to worry about the drive home afterwards, rooms are available from £39.50 per person per night based on two sharing.
