FAWSLEY Hall is the perfect place for anyone looking to bring alive the true spirit of Christmas.

The rich 700-year heritage of the Tudor hall sets the mood for people looking to celebrate the festive season.

In the Great Hall, the Christmas tree, which promises to be one of the tallest in Northamptonshire, will be festooned with festive lights and beautiful decorations while the log fire roars in the magnificent stone fireplace.

The experienced team from Handpicked Hotels promise to pull out all the stops to ensure guests’ experiences live up to these wonderful first impressions.

For some people, Fawsley will be a home from home during the Christmas season while others may simply want to drop in for a traditional tea, a festive party night or a New Year’s Eve gala.

A £5 million refurbishment has transformed the hall, which is a short drive from Daventry, into a venue that meets the demands of today’s leisure and corporate lifestyles.

Marketing manager Lucy Pilcher said: “We believe Fawsley Hall is the place where Christmas past and present really come together. Our range of options mean Fawsley Hall is ideal for those wanting to celebrate with friends, family or work colleagues.”

The hall, which stands in 2,000 acres of formal gardens and rolling parkland, boasts seven function rooms, contemporary health club and spa, 29-seater cinema and 60 bedrooms.

From 1 December, a three-course festive menu will be available in the Cedar Restaurant, which has been awarded four AA red stars and two rosettes, and where Santa will be paying a visit each Sunday in the weeks leading up to Christmas with a gift for young diners.

A wide range of festive packages are available, including an option for lunch or dinner after a day of doing business in one of the venue’s well-equipped meeting rooms.

For those who want a longer stay there are a wide range of flexible packages. Carol singers will be setting the mood on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will begin with a Champagne breakfast before Santa’s arrival.

Lucy Pilcher said: “We want to ensure all of our guests really enjoy their stay and make the most of the hall’s facilities.”
