Babul Hussain, who runs the popular restaurant, said: “We use only the finest, freshest ingredients to give a traditional Indian taste and great flavours. The restaurant is always busy and we are handy for Northampton, Bedford and Milton Keynes and so we have a lot of business customers who want to meet up somewhere central.
“In the run-up to Christmas we will be serving our usual menu, and welcome group bookings and private parties, but would advise people to book soon as we are usually full for November and December before the end of October.”
On Christmas Day itself, the restaurant usually has two lunch sittings, catering for around 120 people, many of whom return each year for the delicious dishes on offer. For those who want something spicy, The 4 Pillars offers 24-hour marinated chicken and lamb as well as a choice of other Indian dishes, but has a range of English favourites, including turkey and salmon, for those who would rather stick with something more traditional.
The 4 Pillars in Olney is open Monday to Thursday from 5.30pm to 11.30pm, Friday from 5.30pm to midnight, Saturday from midday to 2pm and 6pm to midnight, and on Sunday from midday to 2pm and then from 6pm to 11.30pm.
