WHILE no one relishes the dreaded 5,000-piece jigsaw to while away a seemingly endless family festive period – the team at Avalanche Adventure believe they have the perfect alternative.
The Giant Jigsaw is just one of the fun activities on offer at the Sibbertoft centre, where the team aims to put together the kind of corporate event that provides a challenging alternative to a traditional Christmas night out.
Bespoke packages that combine any of the wide range of activities available at the site can be designed to meet individual clients’ needs into a day or a half-day to remember. Hot and cold buffets can be included in the package if required.
Groups can take part in race buggy challenges, quad biking, Land Rover driving, hovercrafts, clay pigeon shooting and archery, while team challenges such as reverse steer and blindfold driving are excellent for team building, or just for fun among competitive colleagues. DTV Shredders are a fairly recent addition to Avalanche Adventure’s list of activities. These an all-terrain vehicles have two tank treads, a skateboard deck and a four-stroke 196cc engine.

“It’s not turkey and all the trimmings, and some people welcome that and enjoy something a bit more exciting. Everyone will remember a day out of the office, working with their colleagues and indulging in a bit of lighthearted competition – it’s fun and it is great for staff morale.
