PROVING that they’re not just for summer weddings and garden parties, The Brampton Halt is planning to hold Christmas parties in the pub’s festively decorated marquee this year.
The marquee is available for private gatherings – whether it’s family, friends or work colleagues – complete with Christmas decorations, a private bar, DJ, mouthwatering cocktails and great food.
Perfect for between 20 and 100 people, the marquee at The Brampton Halt is available from Monday 30 November until Wednesday, 23 December at a cost of £28 per head.

After canapé style starters, guests can choose from either the pig roast or the lamb roast, both cooked on the pub’s spit roaster, or oven-roasted bell peppers; mushroom, cranberry and Brie Wellington or roasted vegetable risotto. For dessert, there’s profiteroles, Christmas pudding or cheeseboard.
Drink options are unlimited, with the pub able to cater to all requirements from prosecco and cocktails to barrelled beers.
The Brampton Halt also has plans for a Christmas Day lunch at £69.95 per person (£35.00 for children), a New Year’s Eve party and morning coffee and Bloody Marys from 11am on New Year’s Day for those in need of a pick-me-up.
