IMPOSING Harrowden Hall, the home of Wellingborough Golf Club, ticks all the boxes for conference and event organisers.
The Hall, which dates back to the early 1700s, is set amongst 160 acres of a championship golf course and quiet, secluded gardens, and has undergone major investments to ensure it meets the demands of customers planning a corporate or private event at an exclusive venue in a convenient location.
The wealth of facilities includes the magnificent championship 72-par parkland course, and meeting rooms which can meet the needs of a small group or a conference for up to 100 delegates.
High standards are the norm at the golf club, which regularly hosts premier PGA and county events and is said to boast one of the best finishing holes alongside The Belfry and Carnoustie.
Attention to the needs of visitors is a priority. The elegant conference rooms can accommodate a wide range of groups from those looking to hold a small informal meeting to others organising a seminar or conference with up to 100 delegates. A lift is available, if required, to the first floor and all the rooms have free wifi. Flip charts, a screen and data projectors are available for hire on request.
The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and also welcomes individuals looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion.
The on-site catering team, headed up by executive chef Peter Hall, can prepare anything from a buffet-style lunch for a small group to a stylish meal.
Managing Director, David Waite, said: "Since the refurbishment we have found more people are making use of the facilities but there are still many people who know we are here but have never actually come through the gates.
"First-time visitors are often surprised to discover a venue in such a great location with such good facilities. Each room has natural daylight, with large windows overlooking the well-maintained formal gardens leading to the championship golf course."
