Drinks brands take to the water

THIS is looking to be an outstanding year for international display company Stagecraft Visual Communications.

The team at Stagecraft, including the majority who have been with the company for many years, have produced some stunning and unusual displays for their long-standing clients.

One, in particular, stands out. We were asked by Diageo, one of the world’s leading drinks suppliers, to come up with a concept/display that could go on to Tattershall Castle, a boat converted in to a pub on the Thames. The boat, owned by Stonegate, is moored in a prominent position opposite the London Eye.

In the summer Stagecraft gave the display the Pimm’s brand and in the winter, it is branded with Diageo’s HH13 beer. For the summer activity Stagecraft designed, produced and fitted graphics but also installed a 1960s Mini on the upper deck. At the end of October, Stagecraft will be are removing the Pimm’s branding and replacing it with HH13 and apart from changing the graphics, will be building an illuminated barrel display.

Another super exciting project was to put two large digital screens and displays on the first and third floors of the 02 Arena in London. The arena can accommodate 20,000 people at any one time and it is believed that these huge displays will be seen by over one million concert goers in a 12-month period.

Another long-standing client has been able to take on tour a fleet of ten VW campers converted to mobile sales units, setting up shop at around 20 outdoor festivals including Glastonbury. Stagecraft’s creative team are already under way with plans for 2018’s road trip.

Another commission is to design, manufacture and install cafes for Red Bean and there is growing demand for Stagecraft’s design, manufacture and installation service for pop up retail units in shopping centres.

This creative thinking and technical skill has enabled Stagecraft to work with a wealth of globally-recognised brands who rely on the team to produce original designs to promote their products and turn them in to reality.

Started in 1985, Stagecraft are able to design, manufacture and install exhibition stands, outdoor event displays, event vehicles, catering units both indoor and container type conversions. The team, including the latest addition, account executive Ted Boddington, can be contacted on 01933 359600, email or visit www.stagecraft.uk.com
