HARROWDEN Hall, the home of Wellingborough Golf Club, continues to thrive following major investment in recent years that has transformed the elegant building, set in 160 acres of quiet, secluded gardens.
The imposing hall, which dates back to the early 1700s, continues to meet the demands of today's customers planning a corporate or private event at an exclusive venue in a convenient location. This includes conference facilities for up to 60 delegates or those planning a wedding, milestone celebration or personal private function.
Managing Director David Waite, said: "Harrowden Hall has always been popular and the fresh look has been welcomed by all. We believe people like the modern yet traditional look, to remain in keeping with the surroundings. The rooms not only look good but the facilities we offer, like free wifi, are all-important benefits which we know will be appreciated by our visitors."
The elegant conference rooms can accommodate a wide range of groups from those looking to hold a small informal meeting to others organising a seminar or conference with up to 60 delegates. The rooms are all located within the main house and a lift is available, if required, to the first floor. They are well equipped with mains sockets and flip charts, while screens and data projectors are available for hire on request.
The Championship 18-hole golf course is another selling point, with guests often keen to combine business with pleasure while tackling the 72-par parkland course.
David added: "First-time visitors are often surprised to discover a venue in such a great location with such good facilities. Each room has natural daylight, with large windows overlooking either the well-maintained formal gardens or the golf course.
"The lounge area opens onto a large terrace that enjoys views over both the gardens and course."
The Hall, which is licensed for civil marriages and civil partnerships, can host small, intimate groups or offer a marquee with room for up to 200 guests. Wedding packages are available - for further information see the Hall's bespoke weddings website www.harrowdenhall.com
