Continental Landscapes, Northampton – following a number of break-ins at the landscaping firm’s gardening equipment and machinery stores, Facilities Manager Alan Greenwood contacted Stanair about additional security measures. Stanair recommended replacing a wooden fire exit door with a steel one to increase security as well as making the door durable in all environments. Other delaying techniques were installed, including a collapsible grille in the main doorway and anti ram-raid posts in front of the workshop shutters. The highly durable, polyurethane material posts can be removed during the day by workers who need to access the workshop, providing convenience during the day and protection at night.
