Truck dealer drives forward

SCANIA Dealer Group, TruckEast Limited, is delighted to announce its plan of an enhancement to its Crick branch, located right off Junction 18 on the M1.

At the latter end of 2017, TruckEast purchased the premises next door, doubling its overall size. Investing £2.5m in the proposed new development will combine state-of-the-art offices, parts and service facilities all designed in accordance with Scania’s global dealership principles.

Based in a prime location, the investment at Crick shows the company’s commitment to keep operators moving. With an increasing level of local developments along the A5, the expansion is deemed essential to keep up with future demand.

John Biggin, managing director said: “This development at Crick is a big investment and will enable us to continue to deliver excellent service levels to our existing customers whilst supporting the growth in the region. It brings an exciting future for everyone involved – both staff and customers alike.”

Working with C-Squared Architects, the plans submitted for the site will take the existing four-bay workshop to nine-bays and include dedicated customer areas, large tool and parts storage along with offices, staff welfare and meeting facilities. The inclusion of an ATF lane is also being explored with the DVSA.

As one of the UK’s largest independently-owned commercial vehicle workshop operators, TruckEast supports its customer base across the eastern counties, providing a full support solution from our 13 dealer points.

TruckEast is an established Scania dealer where the premium quality of the products we sell is reflected right the way through our business – providing a diverse level of aftersales support for all makes of HGV, passenger vehicles, vans and agricultural and industrial vehicles.
