Corporate finance specialist Watersheds have played their part in the acquisition of a Yorkshire-based distribution and warehousing firm by the rapidly expanding OTIF Group.
Watersheds partner Wendy Lam, based at the firm’s office in Northampton, negotiated the deal on behalf of OTIF Group. The acquisition of John Truswell & Sons is OTIP Group’s third in the past five years.
She said: “I am pleased we were able to assist Graham (OTIF Group owner) again by finding another very successful business that will make a great addition to OTIF Group. This has been one of the smoothest transactions to date.”
Watersheds worked with law firm Royds Withy King to complete the deal. OTIF Group owner Graham Darnell said: “I started this acquisition journey with Watersheds five years ago, and we have built up a great relationship over that time. They understand exactly the type of business I am looking for and once again have delivered what they promised.”
