THE challenge of finding an original, stylish gift for new parents is being met by customers turning for inspiration to Babies Galore Rushden Ltd.   The independently run store is attracting business from across the world thanks to its new online store showcasing its wide range of nursery products.   Customers who order online can expect the same attention to service as visitors to the store in Church Street, Rushden.   Wendy Cooper, who opened the store in April 2014, said: “We are finding a growing demand from teams and friends of new parents who want to celebrate the birth of a baby but are looking for something different. Our service means the customer can not only order and pay for a gift but also arrange delivery.”   Free delivery is on offer to customers in a 30-mile radius, which includes Northampton, Corby and Kettering.   Customers are able to choose from a wide range of products including Chicco, Babystyle, quality bedding from Clair de Lune and contemporary pushchairs and prams from Bebecar.   Bespoke gifts like ‘nappy cakes’ and quirky products, which are different from traditional flowers or chocolates, have all helped to grow the business.   Wendy said: “We know people are looking for something different and we are regularly taking orders from not only Northamptonshire but across the country and world including America.”   Visitors to the site can take a virtual tour to look at products before placing an order.   Wendy said: “It is all part of the service which has continued to be one of our main priorities.”   Wendy opened the shop after the birth of her grandson Tyler George when she discovered the lack of choice on offer to people looking for something different to solve their nursery needs. Since opening the shop Wendy has celebrated the arrival of two more grandchildren, Amelia Rose, a sister for Tyler, and Oliver James.   Wendy’s son Matthew, dad to Amelia and Tyler, has joined the shop’s team and is close to completing a business apprenticeship.   His responsibilities have included setting up the online store. Plans are now under way to recruit another apprentice.   For further information call the store on 01933 350150 or see the website at www.babiesgalorerushden.co.uk
