OWNERS of BMW and other performance cars know how important it is that the technicians not only have the skills but the passion for each vehicle.
This combination is at the heart of the team of specialists at the Brackmills-based M-tek who have between them more than 60 years’ experience in the motor industry.
Director Ian Russell hand-picked the team of highly skilled qualified technicians and makes sure they have the right tools for the job.
“We take pride in listening to each customer, so we can sort out a vehicle’s need in the most professional and cost-effective way,” said Ian, who set up the business 15 years ago. “We love the cars and it is important to us that each reaches and maintains its full performance potential.”
Ongoing investment at the independent garage, based in Lyveden Road, means the team can undertake dealer-level diagnostic work on not only BMWs but other performance cars, in particular Mercedes Benz and Audi, using the very latest Autologic diagnostic equipment.
The extensive work includes anything from a replacing a cam belt to regassing an air conditioning system or finding the problem with an under-performing diesel vehicle.
Ian said: “We pride ourselves on being a customer friendly garage and if you have any sort of problem with your vehicle then give us a quick ring and we will be only too happy to help. To us no job is too small so whether it is a light bulb that needs replacing or a new clutch fitted then we encourage owners to give us a call.
“Our location on Brackmills means there is easy access from the A45 and we carry out work for many of the companies and their employees based on the estate.”
The customer service includes collection and delivery of the car in the Northampton area or, by prior arrangement, a courtesy vehicle can be arranged while the work is being carried out. Customers are welcome to make use of the waiting area or one of the team can drive them to the workplace or home if it is in the Northampton area.
