Close to other professionals

IN December of last year, Haines Watts moved into newly refurbished premises in Rushmills, having struggled for space and parking for some time at their previous offices on Moulton Park.

Realising they needed to be closer to other professionals and advisers, many of whom already worked with their clients, Rushmills was seen as the perfect location. Since moving, Haines Watts have seen their team grow considerably through acquisition and also via recruitment. A key aspect of their strategy to further enhance the firm’s offering and ability to help their clients reach their business or personal destination with increased speed and certainty. As a result, both clients and associates are enjoying the benefit of the move as the offices are easy to reach and parking is much easier, along with the access to expanded meeting spaces and an open-plan working environment.

‘One Rushmills’ is home to Haines Watts’ specialist teams covering audit, accountancy, HR advisory, business advisory, corporate finance, property and corporate and personal tax. This wealth of experience and expertise enables Haines Watts to cover every area a client, or indeed, potential client, could require and, therefore, puts the firm is in an enviable position to assist with any business query or request received.

Haines Watts made the decision to recruit and build specialist teams as they felt it was the best means of enhancing their client experience and to ensure clients needs can be serviced effectively. The accelerated growth of the firm recently would certainly suggest their clients are valuing the investment made.

The latest service lines added to the firm’s stable include property, headed up by Tom Dymond (a qualified surveyor) who can provide a breadth of services for clients including, but not limited to, rent negotiations, dilapidations reviews, rates reviews and property search and sales. This added area of expertise is a good example of the firm’s management team listening to what their clients were asking for and then seeking out the best people to help meet client needs.

Corporate finance is a further recent service line addition for Haines Watts within the region. This being headed up by Mark Standish. Mark is well respected within the corporate finance and professional sectors and as such, he is adding significant value to client relationships when dealing with acquisitions, disposals or bank funding requirements.

Gavin Parsons, a Partner based at the new office, said: “The move to Rushmills has been a very positive step for Haines Watts in the region. The prominent office location has ensured we are more visible and easy to locate and the offices have repositioned us as a firm right in the heart of the Northamptonshire ‘Professionals’ area. Colleagues from our regional and national teams and clients alike enjoy visiting and spending time in the office, utilising our conference and meeting rooms to great effect. Our ambition for business growth in the country and across the region is strong and as such, we’re looking forward to further developing our service offerings to benefit our clients and building on the great work and investment made by our team to date.”
