The Northampton depot is a key example of this. Having operated on the Brackmills Industrial Estate for 17 years, the team at TruckEast work around the clock to support local businesses.
Offering new and used Scania sales, all makes repair and maintenance and a competitive parts portfolio. The five-bay workshop is manned by 27 staff and is headed up by Depot Manager, Robert Vasey, who has been with the business for 20 years.
“It’s the dedication of the team that makes the difference for us,” said Robert, “they really go the extra mile, whether it’s service reception, our technicians or parts advisors.”
From experienced members of the team right down to the apprentices, each and every staff member shares a common goal – to put their customers first.
The drive to deliver a fantastic level of service is seen throughout, most recently evident in one of their latest apprentices, Oliver Cockerill, who has been nominated and shortlisted for apprentice of the year in the Northants Business Awards.
Oliver’s keen interest to learn and be the best he can be has seen him flourish over the past year at Northampton, where he has grown and earnt the respect of his team.
