Always a good sign

ACROSS Corby and further afield, you can see the results of 30 years of quality sign making from local firm Brunel Signs.

Since it was founded by Ian Day in 1987, Brunel Signs has built a reputation for quality and excellent customer service, investing in state-of-the-art technology to ensure clients get the very best from everything from simple direction signs to exterior signs that put the firm’s brand in prominent view. Proof of the effectiveness can be seen in the firm’s own premises which has recently undergone an external refurbishment.

The range includes signs, graphics and vehicle liveries, including aluminium modular signs, the supply and installation of architectural lettering in a range of materials, from stainless steel to Perspex, information signs for use in and around company premises, and site boards for temporary or permanent use.

A great deal of Brunel Signs’ work is in the industrial and corporate world, where informative and bespoke safety signage is created to meet the individual requirements in a factory or workplace. Brunel Signs has always focused on Corby and businesses within a 10-mile radius in order to properly get to know clients and their business and offer a personal service.

Last year, the arrival of new state-of-the-art printing and sign-making equipment was the latest stage in ongoing investment to ensure that customers get the best possible service.

The new equipment is more eco-friendly and uses inks that are kinder to the environment, which is important to Brunel Signs and many of its clients.

Managing Director Ian Day said: "Investment in up-to-date equipment is vital to provide our clients with the service they want, from small signs to large-format images, and also to meet the environmental standards they expect these days.

"We produce all signs in-house, and carry out projects from design to installation, using our own licensed powered access and scaffold tower personnel.

"Rather than outsourcing installation, we believe in completing the job from start to finish, and that includes keeping our licences up to date for the technical side of the work."
