STEPHEN Sanderson Transport Limited (SSTL) has seen huge growth since it was founded in 1973. The business was initially founded by the Managing Director Stephen Sanderson with just a single transit pick-up van serving engineering companies around Leicestershire.
In addition to its existing 30,000 square foot unit in Causeway Road, Stephen Sanderson Transport Limited recently required further storage facilities within Corby to help them realise their growth plan.
The firm employed Berrys’ commercial agent Kevin O’Dell to assist it with locating its ideal premises. After an initial meeting to assess the criteria, market investigation and seeking off-market opportunities, Kevin sourced the former Fairline units on Sallow Road, Corby.
After securing the site through a Northampton agent, Kevin negotiated favourable terms on behalf of the client. The legal process required some technical input and the client instructed Simon Massey, partner and head of commercial real estate at Tollers Northampton.

The property comprised two detached warehouses of 34,000 and 18,000 square feet as part of a 2.5-acre plot and it has allowed Stephen Sanderson Transport to fulfil their clients’ contractual needs and push forward with the business.
