Focus On Corby

WELL hasn't that gone quick? This time last year Bobby Singh Braich from Belvoir was in the last throes of tying up the deal where he acquisitioned the long-established Yates estate agency, which has often been the first choice for people were looking to sell or let their homes.

At the time, Belvoir had an office on the town's Rockingham Rd, and in March 2018 relocated lock, stock and barrel to the Yates office on George Street. Since then the town centre agency has undergone a fantastic refurbishment and rebranding but, while the look might be different, Belvoir's back office team remain unchanged. Belvoir's busy year has also included the team receiving the Gold Winner accolade of Letting Agent in Corby from the British Property Awards 2018-2019.

Bobby said: "We are very proud of our work and hope when people want to sell or let their home or looking for a new home to buy or rent, they think of Belvoir. Customer service is still at the heart of the business so attracting and retaining landlords is paramount and this is achieved by good old-fashioned values, building great relationships and ensuring that good communication and great customer service is applied to all.

"The transition process has run smoothly, considering what a big undertaking this was, but what was paramount when the businesses were being merged was ensuring that there was minimal disruption to landlords and tenants."

The lettings team overseen by Kelly Lawrie, who was previously Lettings Director at Yates, put their vast local knowledge and expertise to good use giving landlords the confidence to know that their property is in safe hands.

Sales Manager Steve Laycock and his team of dedicated negotiators are striving to achieve a bigger foothold in the sales market in Corby.

Bobby said: "Our commitment will be by providing realistic valuations, good honest advice to vendors and buyers, and treating clients as they would wish to be treated themselves which is fairly, honestly and always having their clients' best interests at heart."

The growth of Corby has brought fresh opportunities, including Belvoir developing a good working relationship with developers like Mulberry Homes.
