ACTION Screen Process started life producing general screen print and sign-related graphics and, after a series of moves, is now based at Trevithick Road, Willowbrook Industrial Estate in Corby.
Since the early days there has been ongoing investment in both the people and equipment including the latest and largest UV digital flatbed printer and Zund CAD/CNC cutting technology.
This innovative process can print photographic quality images directly onto a wide range of substrates such as glass, acrylic, wood, metal as well as more conventional materials like paper, PVC and some materials including canvas.
Technical Director Vince Meeks said: “We are unique as a graphics company as we combine the traditional silk screen process with digital cutting-edge technology-driven techniques. This means we can combine all processes to produce a greater range of specialist graphics and achieve stunning results to fulfil even the most complicated graphic related brief. There are endless possibilities.”
Now the Corby-based business is looking to attract new customers with the appointment of sales and marketing executive Carolyn Campbell. She will work alongside the team, headed up by Vince, who has been with the company since it was set up more than 25 years ago, and Creative Director Gabor Budai who has headed up the creative studio for the past seven years. Gabor is known for creating some ‘wow’ designs and contributing to many award-winning exhibition graphics and stands thanks to her amazing understanding of all industry standard creative software.
Carolyn’s new role will be to share with businesses just what can be achieved when they use the company’s services, one of the main focuses will be networking with local businesses.
Another recent appointment is print production technician Richard Haslett who comes with a wealth of technical knowledge of all aspects of the wide format print industry.
