PC HOWARD Ltd. is a family owned and professionally managed distribution and warehousing business with a fleet over 120 vehicles and over 300,000 square feet of warehousing.
PC Howard is a founding member of the Palletways Network, celebrating 25 years in the network last year. Palletways specialises in next-day, economy, specified timed deliveries with tail lift and handball deliveries Europe wide. It is a network built up of over 400 depots and with over 300 of the network members being independently owned businesses. Customers also have the use of the award winning web-based portal using the latest information technology to connect to our customers, so we are able to provide real time information to our customers. Last year PC Howard moved in excess of 500,000 pallets both with in the UK and across Europe using the services of the Network, giving customers the full control and visibility throughout the delivery process.
Alongside the Palletways network, PC Howard also provides a solution for the larger consignments. With vehicles ranging from 7.5 ton up to 44 ton artics, PC Howard can deliver direct nationwide offering a dedicated vehicle service.
To complete the one stop shop for 3PL, PC Howard also has two warehouses with a total of 300,000 square feet of warehousing. With a full and flexible service of pick and packing down to single items, pallet reworking and container de-stuffing. Customers also have full access to the portal where they can create and manage orders and view their stock levels.
PC Howard, whose main depot is at Kings Cliffe, near Peterborough, also has depots at Corby and Northampton operating in excess of 120 vehicles and employs 200 people and has been within the top 100 owner managed businesses in Cambridgeshire for the last three years.
