Labelled as a quality supplier

CORBY-based Peterlynn labels is celebrating 35 years of trading. From its beginnings in 1985, with a single machine operator, one customer and just one printing press, the team at Peterlynn now consists of 24 much-valued colleagues operating 13 printing presses over two factories.

Peterlynn is still proud to serve the Corby business community and counts many local businesses among its loyal local customer base.

Managing Director James Lindsay said: “I’m very proud to say our business was born in Corby. We couldn’t think of a better location – right in the heart of the UK.”

Peterlynn’s label capabilities have expanded over 35 years to include both roll and sheet-fed labels with a huge range of sizes and finishes available. Printing options include up to eight spot colours, as well as foiling, laminating and varnish options.

In 2013, Peterlynn invested in a state-of-the-art digital printing press which culminated in an expansion into a 12,000 square foot production space. The move into the digital label arena allowed Peterlynn to service new markets. Now the team at Peterlynn have a strong reputation in the drinks, food and other fast-moving consumer goods industries for their outstanding service and knowledge.

Peterlynn’s production capabilities and ability to offer supreme flexibility coupled with a fast turnaround means that it is now the ‘go-to’ people for high-quality, digitally printed labels, and the firm has a great reputation locally for its expert knowledge of label materials for a range of applications.

Peterlynn has never lost focus on its core business, which still has a heavy focus on hard-wearing labels for industrial applications including warning labels, rating labels, as well as asset ID tags and labels. In addition, Peterlynn produces many millions of blank over-printable labels every month either on rolls for thermal transfer or direct thermal printing, or laser sheets for office use.

James added: “With all businesses now focusing on the impact of their carbon footprint many will look locally to meet their requirements. Delivery within Northamptonshire is free of charge for all our customers. We are also able to provide stock holding, call-off arrangements and just-in-time management of your label requirements, so you can be sure you need never run out of labels.”
