TRAINING provider Nital puts its recent nomination for a major industry award down to a success rate that far outstrips the national average. The Corby-based apprenticeship provider narrowly missed out on the Training Partner of the Year title at the 2014 SEMTA Skills Awards last month, organised by the Engineering Sector Skills Council. Up against large in-house training providers such as Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover and BAe Systems, the team at Nital were delighted simply to be in the running. Head of Business Development, Simon Webster, said: “We had a fantastic time at the awards dinner and we were proud to be up against some of the ‘big boys’ in this sector. It says a lot about what we do – and our success rate of 91 per cent against a national average of around 72 per cent – hopefully we can use that as a platform to get our name out there and make sure more people know about us and what we offer.” Nital is an independent training provider and registered charity with a strong bias towards engineering. They deliver a range of apprenticeships designed to specifically meet the needs of businesses, helping fill skills gaps and developing individuals for succession planning in your organisation. It is essential a business’s needs are met with high quality, relevant apprenticeship provision, we focus on the essential elements required to make apprenticeships work and ensure there is regular, comprehensive support for employers and their apprentices.
