Success is clear for all to see

THE continued growth and expansion of a Daventry signs, embroidery and design firm is clear for all to see.

Just over a year ago, Tailor Made moved into a new building in Prospect Way to provide the company with the base it needed to increase its staffing levels and move into new and exciting areas of business.

Since then, it has taken on Derren Midson to strengthen the sales team and has added prestigious contracts to its portfolio, including becoming the Daventry distributor for Dickies workwear.

Joanne Pawlett, who founded the company almost 15 years ago with her husband Lee, said: “Becoming a Dickies distributor is something we had been working towards for some time and we were delighted when that happened, coming at a time when we have grown and strengthened every sector of the business, including embroidered and printed clothing, signage, vehicle livery, CNC precision cutting and engraving.

“Our CNC Router department can now provide precision cuts through to the finished product, with the addition of an edge bander. We cut wood, MDF, foam, aluminium composite and rubber up to 100mm thick.”

On the signage side of the business, Tailor Made has carried out everything from full shop refits to vehicle wraps and applying vinyls to all sizes of vehicles from tiny replica cars to articulated lorries.

Joanne added: “Everything is now priced in our showroom so customers can come in and choose their items, from plain clothing to those with logos, all at good trade prices with hundreds of different products on show, there really is something for everyone. People can still shop online, of course, but having the showroom is helpful for those who want to get a feel for the choices of colours and materials on offer.”
