MARSH Industries Ltd is a UK off-mains drainage manufacturer with their head office based in Northamptonshire.
From the site near Kettering, the factory produces approximately 120 domestic sewage treatment plants, septic tanks and pump stations each week. In 2015 the opportunity arose for the business to further expand their manufacturing capabilities and now has a sister site in Bridgwater, Somerset. This second factory allowed Marsh Industries access into the commercial and industrial markets too which over the last 18 months has enabled the business to grow their market share of the contracts and civils drainage market.
The company currently holds 16 certificates showing that they manufacture both to the British and European standards this includes; the Ensign Sewage Treatment Plant, the Euro Septic Tank, Pump Chambers, Rainwater Harvesters, Grease Traps, Attenuation Tanks and the newly launched Hydroil Separator range – which completes Marsh Industries’ product portfolio.
With innovation being at the forefront of the business, the design and completion of the in-house computer system Gaia allows the dedicated contracts department to tailor each quote and create a bespoke product to meet specific site requirements. Marsh offers an industry first, allowing the customer to choose the diameter of the tank which would best suit the application.
All quotes come with the option to design the tank in 1.8m, 2.5m or 3m diameter, this can be helpful due to ground conditions on site and can even reduce the cost of installation. In turn, this has resulted in quotes becoming orders for recent projects such as; the new Hinckley Point Power Station, Heathrow Airport and the TGV Rail Network in France, at times securing the project from both other UK and European off mains drainage manufacturers.
Marsh Industries offers both before and after-sales technical advice. Currently there are six Regional Managers covering UK mainland who can offer advice and site visits both before or after delivery to recommend the easiest way to get the job sorted.
Secondly, based in Northamptonshire, there is an internal sales office on hand to offer information over the phone. Lastly the newly formed and ever-expanding contracts department is dedicated to finding an easy solution for even the trickiest of sites.
