CONSTRUCTION work is now under way on the first phase of properties at Barratt Homes’ sought-after Thrapston development Charter’s Gate.
To commemorate work starting onsite, Operations Director at Barratt Homes Cambridgeshire Adam Knight was on hand to put the first spade in the ground and ‘cut the sod’ to the new homes site. He was joined by Site Manager Russell Patrick, who will be overseeing the construction works at the development.
Charter’s Gate is situated in a fantastic location that will appeal to a range of different buyers. It will be the first development to launch in Northamptonshire from the new Peterborough-based division of Barratt Developments.
Located on Huntingdon Road, the development will bring a selection of 84 quality-built two to five-bedroom homes to the area.

The name Charter’s Gate celebrates the town’s rich history and refers to its Market Charter which was granted in 1205.
