A team with a wealth of local knowledge

BORNEO Martell Turner Coulston’s Commercial team is partner led – headed up by Senior Partner and Commercial Law expert David Bacon together with Litigation Partner – Sharon Hundal.

Sharon and Haris Ahmed deal with all aspects of dispute resolution. They can assist with contractual disputes, debt collection, commercial and residential landlord and tenant issues and property litigation including boundary issues. In addition, Sharon advises on employment issues including disciplinary action, redundancies, drafting contacts and policy documents.

Sharon has lived and worked in Kettering for 17 years, and all the team have local knowledge of the area which is a major advantage when representing our clients. Sharon said: “A lot of our clients have been with the firm for many years as they know they will get a personal service from the same solicitor and their support team throughout – building up those business relationships is really the key to our success”

David Bacon has been practising as a solicitor for nearly 40 years. After dealing with commercial litigation for 25 years, David moved into specialising in commercial law. His background in litigation provides him with an invaluable insight into what can go wrong in the commercial world and he therefore tailors his advice to ensure his clients are in the best possible position when entering into any commercial venture. David can assist in the purchase and sale of a business, mergers, drafting agreements including partnership and shareholder agreements and any aspect of commercial advice that business owners may need.

As well as residential property matters, the firm has specialists in commercial property, dealing with matters from freehold sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial finance for businesses such as re-mortgages, bridging finance and advising on personal guarantees.

He has experience of dealing with Northamptonshire-based landlords and tenants of restaurants, take-aways, and high street shops as well as much larger corporate clients.

All the solicitors at Borneo Martell Turner Coulston recognise the importance of offering a very personal service to their clients and building up a long-term business relationship.
