ELLACOTTS LLP Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers are delighted to announce that this financial year they are supporting Cransley Hospice in Kettering.
The firm, which moved to Vantage House on Kettering Venture Park in April 2016, appointed Cransley Hospice as its Charity of the Year following a staff vote.
Each year, Ellacotts ask their staff to nominate charities that mean something to them, which is followed by a vote, with the winner becoming their Charity of the Year. Cransley Hospice was a joint nomination with Katharine House Hospice in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and funds raised will be split between the two.
David Stevens, Managing Partner, said: “We are delighted to be supporting a very worthwhile cause close to our office in Kettering. Cransley Hospice has touched a number of our staff and we are very happy to be able to give something back to them. At Ellacotts, we work with many local businesses and individuals and feel very much part of the community. Cransley Hospice do amazing work in the local area and we are looking forward to supporting them over the next year.”
Throughout the year, Ellacotts will be raising money through dress-down days, cake bakes and various physical pursuits.
Last year the firm raised over £7,000 for Make-A-Wish which they are hoping to beat this year. As part of their fundraising, Ellacotts staff take part in a flagship sporting challenge. The most recent one, which took place in May 2017, saw the team organise and complete a 50-mile Bikeathon, cycling between their Banbury and Kettering offices.
