The company has vast printer experience, across a wide range of industries and applications, and their range of colour label printers provides a superb solution to managing label printing in-house as well as reducing label waste.

The latest addition, the Epson ColorWorks C7500, joins a growing range of printers, which spans from affordable, compact desktop machines to large, industrial printers designed to provide fast printing speeds with photo-quality resolution. There’s a colour label printer for every business requirement, providing the flexibility and convenience to print labels on-demand and avoiding long lead times and minimum order quantities, often specified by specialist print companies.

It might be one or two labels for a prototype, 200 for product labelling or 20,000 or more – a colour label printer from AML will print within minutes instead of waiting days, even weeks, for printed labels to arrive from a third party supplier.

A key factor for installing your own in-house colour label printer is to reduce waste on large quantities of label stock, especially in industries where strict labelling regulations apply including food and chemical. The food industry has had a legislation change (EU Regulation 1169/2011) which demands that allergens must be clearly highlighted on every label.

Many other markets are undergoing major changes, including the EU chemical Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (CLP), which requires colours to be displayed on chemical products to identify hazards.

Brendon Bass, Sales and Marketing Manager for AM Labels Ltd., said: “Businesses are constantly under pressure to conform to legislation immediately. An in-house colour label printing system makes for superb flexibility, cost and time saving. Supported by our expert in-house technical team, who are available to install your printer and train staff, they are always on hand to ensure you get the best from your AML system.

“With our extensive knowledge on all aspects of labelling, and our own label production in Kettering, we can supply a range of tried and tested materials. Labels can be printed onto various surfaces such as photo-quality gloss paper and durable synthetic media appropriate for chemical labelling to BS 5609.”
