STANAIR Industrial Doors is hoping to make going back to school after the long summer holidays a little bit more fun with a range of stationery featuring one of the county’s best-loved mascots.
The Kettering-based door company sponsors Steeler, the mascot of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, and has released a selection of pencil cases, notebooks and erasers that will look great on school desks once the new term starts.

The Kettering-based door company sponsors Steeler, the mascot of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, and has released a selection of pencil cases, notebooks and erasers that will look great on school desks once the new term starts.
This is the fourth season Stanair Industrial Doors has sponsored Steeler, the mascot of the Northampton Steelbacks, bringing their involvement with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club to ten years – one of the longest sponsor partnerships in the club’s history.
Steeler is a firm favourite at the County Ground with fans of all ages, and now he’s featuring on merchandise that will take him, the Steelbacks and Stanair Industrial Doors out to a wider audience.
Ellie Emerson, Marketing Manager at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, said: “It’s fantastic that Stanair have looked to maximise their sponsorship by offering bespoke merchandise in the club shop.
“Children love Steeler the Dog and are now to be able to purchase a souvenir of their trip to the County Ground, which is a real bonus. We hope that Steeler the Dog will be making an appearance on many school desks this September.”
