LOCAL family-owned distribution and warehouse provider P C Howard Ltd have had a successful summer, following up their BRC audit in July with the renewal of their BRC accreditation renewed with an A Grade.
Andrew Howard, Managing Director, said that this is a tribute to the dedication of PC Howard’s staff and their hard work in understanding and meeting customers’ needs .
He added that most people do not appreciate that the BRC accreditation is actually graded and most companies do not reveal what grade they have managed to achieve.
In addition, P C Howard Ltd was also successful at the Summer Palletways Conference when the level of service they provide was recognised by Palletways, with the firm successful in being awarded a Platinum Award for Services to Customers.
Andrew Howard said: “Both of these successes are a result of the dedication of staff to meet the needs of our customers – we are continually reviewing our systems and investing in IT to ensure that the service we deliver is second to none.
“Our latest change as been to introduce ETAs ( estimated time of arrival ) for all our customers together with a traffic light warning system so that our support team can see when a consignment is at risk and it gives them time to implement any corrective action – hence further improving our service levels to our customers.”
