A FREE recycling service in Northampton’s Moulton Park is a lifeline for those people looking to clear the mounds of cardboard piling up in the workplace or even at home.
Each week, tonnes of cardboard are dropped off at PC Supplies, which operates on the same site as the company’s extensive showroom and well-stocked warehouse.
There is no limit on the amount or type of cardboard which can be dropped off as the company’s on-site baler makes quick work of crushing the piles before it is sent off to be recycled.
The recycling operation is a growing side of the business which was set up by Paul Evans more than 17 years ago.
“We are on a busy industrial estate so there are plenty of businesses who want to drop off their cardboard,” said Paul. “Customers are welcome to come along during opening hours.
Some arrive each week with vanloads but there is no minimum.”
