The family’s hands-on approach enables the business to meet even the most demanding requests from its clients. Many in the food, drink and logistics industries rely on the CAS product range to ensure they retain 24/7 operations.
CAS is also able to meet the bespoke needs of other clients including wind farms, the O2 stadium, dynamometers, sewage farms and recycling plants. The most interesting was to produce luggage rollers for the boot of a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost!
CAS is a strong believer in staff investment. Two apprentices have successfully qualified as machinists with formal training provided by Northampton College and the search is currently underway for another candidate.
Its sustained growth, even through the recession, was helped by funding support from Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership and its location on Northampton’s New Enterprise Park has brought other benefits, including local rates relief.
