A NORTHAMPTON-based construction consultancy is celebrating after getting through to the finals of three award categories across two different national construction awards.
Bhangals Construction Consultants, which specialises in quantity surveying services, found out it had been shortlisted in the category of Consultancy of the Year in the Construction News Awards and then, a few days later, was announced as a finalist in the categories of Construction Consultancy of the Year and Quantity Surveyor of the Year in the National Building Awards.
Out of hundreds of entries from companies across the UK, Bhangals Construction Consultants is one of only eight companies to have made the shortlist for the Consultancy of the Year category in the Construction News Awards and is up against just five other companies across their categories in the National Building Awards.
Parm Bhangal, founder and Managing Director of Bhangals Construction Consultants, said: "To be recognised by our industry at this national level is just fantastic. We are up against some stiff competition from some really strong construction businesses from all over the UK, so to have even made it this far is a big achievement.
"Our business will be nine years old this year and has grown year on year since then. As well as growing financially, we have been quietly attracting the best talent and growing our team and working on some fantastic construction projects. We are so proud of how far we have come and to be up there with much larger, more established companies is just amazing."
The team will find out how they have fared at two award ceremonies in London. The National Building Awards were due to take place at Wembley Stadium in May followed by the Construction News Awards on Thursday, 11 July at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
