THE leadership team at Scott Fowler Solicitors may well have a 50th anniversary to celebrate but also have grand designs for the year including an exciting regeneration plan.
Managing partner Ed Fowler now heads up the legal practice set up by his late father, Richard Fowler, and now-retired partner Ian Scott, with work continuing to focus on commercial, residential and development property matters.
The firm's ethos to deliver a first-class service remains the same with an ongoing specialism in general commercial, litigation and private client work to meet the needs of today's far-reaching client base.
Ed is supported by Partner Anna Horrell, who joined the firm in 1997, and newly-appointed Partners in 2017, Rebecca Howard, Head of the Residential Property Department and Georgina Worley who heads up the Commercial Property Department.
"We are delighted to be celebrating our 50th anniversary but recognise that to retain our standards we need to keep looking at ways to meet the expectations of our clients," said Ed, who is based at the firm's chambers in a beautiful converted chapel on Sandhill Road in Northampton's St James area.
The 50th anniversary year will include a relaunch of the firm's website and branding to better reflect the team's forward-thinking attitude.
Ed said: "We are very proud of what has been achieved in the last 50 years and are now looking forward to being able to build on this success. It is impressive that there are members of our team who have been with the practice for many years. It is testament to the success of the firm that we can rely on home-grown talent to enable us to meet our high expectations.
"Our continued growth has enabled us to bring in other specialists who we believe will ensure we can make the most of different opportunities.
"The important point is that all the team take pride in providing an efficient, energetic and friendly service to ensure that our expert legal advice is accessible to everyone who needs our support."
