Exciting site development starts

PANATTONI, Europe’s most active developer of speculative industrial and logistics buildings, has started work at Panattoni Park Northampton.

Panattoni Park Northampton offers more than 1.6 million square feet of high specification logistics and warehouse space immediately adjacent to junction 16 of the M1, giving unrivalled access to the UK’s motorway networks.

There are various options for the site including the construction of three speculative units, of 93,000 square feet, 222,000 square feet and 310,000 square feet which will be available for occupation in Q3 2020.

In addition, build-to-suit opportunities are available from 260,000 square feet up to 780,000 square feet.

Another exciting development is that Panattoni has negotiated a Section 278 highways agreement permitting substantial improvements to the A4500. Nearby occupiers include Sainsbury’s, Levi’s, BMW, Morrisons and Royal Mail.

Potential occupiers will be able tap in to an available and skilled workforce. Panattoni Park Northampton offers easy access to the East and West Midlands, as well as offering a readily available workforce. The proportion of the workforce employed in logistics in Northamptonshire is twice the national average, giving Panattoni Park Northampton a very large, suitably skilled labour pool right on its doorstep.

Oliver Bertram, the Panattoni development director in charge of the project, said: “Not surprisingly, we have had a huge amount of interest in this site. I think the quality of the buildings, our reputation for attention to detail and the fact that the site is well located – with further road improvements planned – means that occupiers are realising that this is one of the few outstanding opportunities in the area.”

The agents for the scheme are Burbage Realty and Savills. For more information about Panattoni visit www.panattoni.co.uk
