Providing much needed new stock

CONSTRUCTION is progressing rapidly at Gazeley’s brand new ‘best-in-class’ industrial/warehouse development at the popular Moulton Park industrial estate situated on Summerhouse Road.

Gazeley acquired the 20-acre site during 2018 and is speculatively developing three units of 50,350 square feet, 91,100 square feet and 155,227 square feet, which will be available from July 2019. The smaller unit will have a clear height of 10m while the large units will benefit from a 15m clear height within the warehouse, as well as excellent provision of dock and level loading doors from secure service yards. A final plot will accommodate a single unit of 132,698 square feet available on a design-and-build basis.

Sustainability is also a core requirement of the development and the highly specified buildings will be Grade ‘A’ rated for EPC and will target BREEAM very good, incorporating features such as rainwater harvesting for use in toilet flushing and optimising natural light which can save up to 13 per cent a year on running costs.

The development will be undertaken by Gazeley with Equation Properties acting as Development Manager for the scheme. Both Gazeley and Equation have an excellent track record in industrial/warehouse development.
