A BUSY and successful year at recruitment specialists TD Group is just getting even better with the news that the company has been nominated in the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2019.
The Silverstone Park-based business has been recognised in the fiercely competitive Best Customer Service category. The public vote for their favourites with winners announced at a ceremony later this year.
While the team are delighted with the recognition, there is no resting on their laurels with a wide range of initiatives already under way to deliver the very best to clients particularly in the IT and finance sectors.
Newly-appointed director Julie Stewart is committed to carrying on the good work where the business ended 2018 on a record high with more clients and permanent placements.
Julie said: “Customer service is our priority, so we are really pleased to have been nominated. We are seeing growth across all divisions and are really grateful to our candidates and clients who have given us some excellent testimonials.”
These include one client who wrote, after using the group’s services, ‘You understood our requirements and really matched the candidate perfectly. I think you understand our company and what we’re about and what type of people really fit in’.
TD Group recognise the value of supporting younger generations in preparing for the world of work. The team accepted an invitation through Silverstone Park and Silverstone Technology Cluster to take part in Inspiration for Innovation Programme for Schools and Employers.
The event, run by Gaia Innovation in partnership with MEPC, welcomed TD Group’s Managing Director Anthony Priest to deliver a presentation on empathy and tolerance to The UTC, which is based at Silverstone.
Other sessions about how to show confidence in job interviews saw employees share their knowledge with Year 11 students at Kingsthorpe College in Northampton and they also joined other high-tech business volunteers at a career speed networking event at Beachborough School in Buckingham.
Julie said: “We really do value working in partnership with clients, this enables us to deliver the service they require. It is all about understanding the true essence of each business and the role, that then enables us to recruit the right individual.”
