IN June of this year ListerGeo reached an important and satisfying milestone in the company after successfully trading for 25 years as geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultants.
Based near Towcester, the company has grown from just a few engineers with a laboratory in a farm cow shed in the early 1990s, up to around 30 staff today offering a variety of ground investigation and laboratory services to the construction industry throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
Much of the demand for their services has grown in response to the need to satisfy ever more complex contaminated land and waste soil legislation.
When asked about the implications of Brexit on future trading conditions, Ian Evetts, Deputy Managing Director stated that there were no signs of decline in the industry and he was confident that the company would continue to prosper.
Dr Mark Cowley who set up the company all those years ago remarked that the strength of the company was in its long serving and loyal workforce, many of whom had been with the company since its inception back in 1992.
